We are very pleased to welcome you to the 6 Congress of the Serbian Associa on for Cancer Research (SDIR)
with interna onal par cipa on “From Collabora on to Innova on in Cancer Research” which will be held on
October 2-4 2023, at the Royal Inn Hotel, Kralja Petra 56, Belgrade, Serbia.
During the three-day congress, lectures will be given by dis nguished Serbian and interna onal researchers,
covering the following topics:

• Epigene cs and gene regula on in cancer
• Bioinforma cs and ar fi cial intelligence in cancer research
• Omics approaches in cancer research
• Therapy response and resistance
• Clinical and transla onal oncology
• Immunooncology
• New and challenging drug targets
• Pathways to innova on in cancer research

We are pleased to announce that our sixth congress is ac vely supported by the European Associa on for Cancer
Research (EACR). Na onal and regional coopera on is also important, and so representa ves from our friend
socie es will be a ending our congress.
The ming of the organisa on of SDIR-6 is important for the establishment of our na onal society’s journal On-
cology Insights. The abstracts of the sixth congress will be published in the very fi rst issue of the journal.
Advances and innova ons in cancer research are based on growing scien fi c knowledge and collabora on. We
believe you will enjoy the lively atmosphere of the congress and that frui ul scien fi c discussions will help you
build new collabora ons and develop new ideas.
