Deadline for late-breaking abstract submission: September 03, 2023.

The abstracts should be submitted using the online submission system available on the SDIR website: https://www.sdir.ac.rs/en/. Registration is available on the same webpage.

Authors will be notified by e-mail to confirm that the submission and registration process was successful. Please note that the authors will receive additional confirmation email by members of Organizing Committee. Should you not receive the abstract submission confirmation email within 24 hours, please check your spam folder first and then contact us at info@sdir.ac.rs. Notification of abstract acceptance will be made by e-mail after the review process no later than September 12, 2023.

Authors can choose between submitting a short or an in extenso abstract, both of which will be published in the Abstract book as a supplement to the first edition of the newly launched SDIR Journal. Speakers are encouraged to submit Abstracts in extenso.

Abstract Guidelines

Font – Times New Roman, 12-point font
The Abstract should consist of the following elements:

• The title should be concise but informative, non-standard abbreviations should be avoided.
• Author information: Please state the authors’ full names, the department/institution, city and country, and link the authors’ names and addresses using numbers in superscript. Please indicate the presenting author.
• The abstract body should be in a single paragraph, and be structured with the following sections: Background, Material (Patients) and Methods, Results and Conclusions. Abstract body is limited to 2500 characters with spaces.
• Please include 3 to 6 keywords below the abstract, in the alphabetical order, taken from the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH).

Abstract in extenso Guidelines

The Abstract should consist of the following elements:

• Author information: Please state the authors’ full names, the department/institution, city and country, and link the authors’ names and addresses using numbers in superscript. Please indicate the presenting author.
• The abstract body should be structured with the following sections: Background, Material (Patients) and Methods, Results, Conclusion, and References (up to 10). Abstract body is limited to 12500 characters with spaces (approximately 3 pages).
• Please include 3 to 6 keywords below the abstract, in the alphabetical order, taken from the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH).
