Dear colleagues,

After the success of the 1st Regional congress SHM1RC, with great pleasure we announce the 2nd Regional Congress (HMS2RC) of HDIR, MOKAD and SDIR.

The meetings will be held in Zagreb, Croatia, at the Hotel International (Miramarska 24, Zagreb) on November 4 and 5, 2026. The goal of this regional congress is to further promote cancer research in Croatia, Turkey and Serbia, focused on the cross-border cooperation between basic research and clinical cancer management. This congress will put an emphasis on regional and international communication and cooperation, with speakers and participants from many European countries. HMS2RC provides opportunities for cancer researchers and clinicians to gather together and to establish a good working collaboration with each other and with other regional EACR national societies.

Original contributions by researchers and clinicians with an interest in cancer are more than welcome and encouraged. Your contribution to this meeting will benefit all participants and help to make this event successful.

EACR, FEBS Open Bio and Molecular Oncology sponsored best abstract and poster awards will be available for participants.
